Firefly was excellent. It's a shame that it got cancelled so soon. It seems all the truly good shows fail because they don't have mainstream appeal...

If I could take your pain and frame it, and hang it on my wall,
maybe you would never have to hurt again...

I just finished that tonight (haven't watched the movie yet). How hilarious and entertaining was Jubal Early? I love that kind of villain.

I read that part of the problem with the show when it aired was that Fox decided to air the episodes out of order (and then after they canceled it, refused to sell the rights to anyway else).

So today at work the same company that sold us these signs we needed to have up in the office and tried to scam my boss out of an extra $80ish bucks called him back today and tried to be as vague as possible as they tried to dupe him into buying something else he didn't need. These people are notorious ripoff artists and hearing my boss chew their asses out was the highlight of my week.
And now his fires have gone out.

But there is something missing from that.

In case you disagree with these charges you can make your oral argument with our INTERNAL billing department supervisor, Jerry Sandusky, at shower stall #4 between the hours of "when-everybody-leaves" and 'when-everybody-returns".

Watching some show called Full Throttle Saloon. I don't know what I'm watching. It's not terrible, but it's not particularly good either.

I take it back. This show is actually kind of boring.

Holy ****, is Rand Paul's filibuster still going on?

His filibuster over Obama's CIA nomination began at 11:45 am(est) and i believe its still going. If so, **** yeah. If your going to do it, THIS is how it should be done.

edit: think i found it, if you want to watch:

edit2: damn, finally stopped. They keep saying it lasted 12 hours, think it was closer to 13. Not to shabby.

That's how it used to be done. A filibuster only lasted as long as you could physically keep it going. Now they basically just say filibuster and go on with their business.
