Really random, but you bringing up conchs reminded me of a popular saying here that I used to use as often as possible in America, with no explanation, whenever someone acted like they knew what they were talking about or doing but didnt really have a clue:

"You dont know when conchs done."

The confused looks are often priceless . Takes an islander or a true south Floridian to get it usually.
I've lived in South Florida most of my life but I honestly have no idea what that means.

I was once a normal kid
Till the Devil came down and flipped my lid
He gave me a switchblade and he gave me a muse
Then he vomited acid all over my shoes

Conch doesnt need to cook at all. You chop it up and put it in a scorch/salad raw. So being told you dont know when its done is basically saying you dont know anything about anything.

Huh. I'm surprised I haven't heard someone say that to me, oh... about a thousand times then.

Two different times this season (including last week), the show ended in such an electric way that I didn't even know what to do with myself. After last Sunday's episode, I somehow ended up in my backyard I don't even know how I got there.

I like this approach to having Breaking Bad and football on at the same time plus getting to skip commercials. Gonna try it out on Sunday.

Edit: If you haven't seen The Wire yet, you're a worthless ****ing idiot and you should skip the first paragraph.

It is a beautiful Saturday afternoon here in Georgia. Sunny, breezy, not too hot at 75 degrees, & my dog took a dump in the neighborhood Bills fans bushes; great weather for sitting on the patio and enjoying a beer. I picked up a 6-pack of Fat Tire for the A&M game (whom I will be rooting for, for no other reason than to see Namor cry) at your guys recommendation & it tastes terrific. Call me a communist if you will, but I still prefer my IPAs. These are a nice change of pace, though.

    Life is good.

I never watch TV shows live. Ever. Streaming commercial free the next day all the way.

Also, have not seen The Wire. Havent seen The Sopranos either. Gonna start one of them soon. Not sure which.

The Wire. My previous comment stands. Especially for the likes of you.

I usually feel the same way about live TV, but I agree with Simmons on this one. I'll be watching the Breaking Bad finale live.
