Nope. Nothing sketchy about this at all.
Man the stock market is risky enough. Imagine buying stock in a Hollywood movie star only to have them go "drunken Mel Gibson" a week later and start losing roles and money. Instead of watching business channels and reading CNN Money, you'd be watching ET and Inside Hollywood along with reading Deadspin and TMZ.

The privatization of professional athletes now? Jesus christ. At what point do people wake up and smell the lunacy...?

Ok. I think zounds is now eligible for the junk treatment. Impossible to converse with, makes very little sense and better to be ignored

Eventually everyone learns this about Zounds.

I was once a normal kid
Till the Devil came down and flipped my lid
He gave me a switchblade and he gave me a muse
Then he vomited acid all over my shoes

We dont use traps in the literal sense of the word. They can come and leave as they please. We use artificial habitats. Just small 4x8 or 6x8 condos for the lobster to hide under. We dive down, move the condo, hook and stab all the up to measure lobster, then move on to the next one. We use GPS readings and set the condos in lines.
How many do you typically get in a trip? How deep are the "condos"? Sorry for the questions but I don't live near the ocean but I love almost everything about the ocean.

The amount depends on when the trip is and which boat youre on (size, quality of the traps and their locations, quality of captain/crew, ect.).

One of the larger, good boats with, say, 11 crew can bring in 50k lbs in 3.5 to 4.5 weeks in August. August is your bread and butter trip really. This trip, Ill be very happy with 20k to 30k lbs in 4.5 weeks. We have 9 crew (so 4 speed boats).

As for depth, on the boat Im with, we dont really have any deeper than 40-ish feet. Most are between 20 and 35. Handful less than 20. Some boats have a few traps set up to 100 feet, but that **** is risky business and most boats here just arent willing to deal with the risk for a few extra $. Its so easy to get bent or just have some random **** happen on the bottom that all a sudden becomes a major issue at 100 feet.

So the initial reviews of The Counsellor aren't so hot which is a bit disappointing since cormac McCarthy was involved.
