They could clear enough space if they really wanted him.

This guy turned down 5 years/50 mil from the steelers and is reportedly seeking a contract that dwarfs those #'s. Wallace is a good deep threat but that's it. He doesn't run good routes at all and doesn't go across the middle either. Unless he wake up and realizes he's not Larry Fitzgerald, I don't see us going after him.

I don't want the guy. Divas like him never own up to the big money they demand.

    Thanks, but no thanks.

take it from a guy who used play WR in high school.....I think the primary focus should be finding out whose going to be throwing the ball first before we worry about whose catching them.

Different Coaching staff, different offense, different circumstance pertaining to the 'but we paid Marshall that much' argument. We're not in need of a #1 receiver in this offense, especially for a #1 receiver price. This is all media speculation just like it was "highly probable" that we would take Gordon in the supp draft. I was on the side that said we wouldn't even glance that way (supp draft) and it was right. Ireland is working with what we need in this offense and although Wallace would be an excellent weapon he is def not needed for the price he will cost. Chalk this up as a wasted convo because it's not happening.
    2014 Mock Draft

    1. Zack Martin - OT/OG - Notre Dame
    2. Chris Borland - ILB - Wisconsin
    3. C.J. Fiedeorowicz - TE - Iowa
    4. Trai Turner - OG - LSU
    5. Brandon Thomas - OT/OG - Clemson
    6. Storm Johnson - RB - South Florida
    7. Calvin Barnett - DT - Oklahoma State

Y! Sports now reporting the Colts, Cowboys & Dolphins have had preliminary discussions with the Steelers about pro-bowl receiver Mike Wallace.
