it was a sloppy game played in sloppy conditions. we were almost 2 TD underdogs and had a great chance to win w/ a rookie QB in week 2. It was disappointing but not a crushing loss. This is a young team w/ a young QB, there will be more lumps the rest of the year. I can only hope he and the team learn from them.
Well he'll be ready for your last 6 games...maybe you'll get your wish.

The New York Jets have placed quarterback Mark Sanchez on Injured Reserve, Designated for Return.

The designation means that Sanchez will be eligible to return to practice after six weeks and will be eligible to return to the active roster after eight weeks from being placed on the reserve list.

Sanchez, who was in competition for the Jets' starting QB role at the time of his injury, played in the first three preseason games this summer. He completed 28 of 42 passes (66.7%) for 366 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions and had a 90.0 passer rating.

So when the Jets came out and said Sanchez had a bruised shoulder and was day to day, was that just incompetence? Or were they just too embarrassed to admit right away that Rex's dumb decision knocked out....what looked like....how can I put it.... the less crappy QB... out for half the season?

I'm not sure there really is anything wrong with his shoulder...they could very well just be trying to keep the fans at bay while evaluating smith

What fans? Junc and maybe a couple of others are the only ones that still want Sanchez as the Jets starting QB.
Besides, Sanchez has already displayed that he wouldn't go along with such a thing by proclaiming himself as the winner of QB competition.

    Geno Smith sucks.

If this were a Jets board I'd say something like 'sorry Jets fans, at least its a deep QB draft this year and you can get your guy after evaluating Geno' but really all I can say is lmao you guys are ****ed.

This sig in memory of 'Crazylegs' Elroy Hirsch. Go. Packers.

Many of us knew he was a crappy QB before the draft.

His performance only confirms our evaluations.
"Ignorance is not an excuse" were the words Goodell used when describing why those involved in the Saints bounty scandal would not avoid punishment.
