I agree w/ you there but that still doesn't make Eli elite which is what that argument has always been about.

    LOL @ The Jets

Eli is not elite w 2 Super Bowls and Sanchez is better then romo...

Yet we're the average fans who just don't know anything? How about the coaches in the league? Do you think they agree or do you also know more than they do?

In no reality would the cowboys ever even contemplate that trade.

    This is totally asinine.

You may actually want to read the discussions instead of taking bits and pieces and making up your own stuff. Eli being elite or not(clearly he isn't) has nothing to do w/ Sanchez and at no point did I say Sanchez was a better overall QB just a MUCH better postseason QB. If Sanchez is on dallas 2006-2010 Dallas makes at least 1 SB.

Do you think Eli is an elite qb? Who is a better qb Sanchez or romo?

2 easy questions that require only one word answers.

Deflect what ? You didn't ask me a question.

I asked you 2 simple questions requiring one word answers, too much for you[/QUOTE]

so every giant on those 2 teams is elite? Jim Plunkett should be in the Hall then, right? was he elite? The Giants won w/ defense, Eli played well, had 2 good runs but being elite is about more than showing up in january every 5 years. The elite QBs are consistently great every season. Elite QBs don't miss 3 postseasons in 4 years in a mediocre division(w/ the only time making it w/ a 9-7 record).

How do you explain an elite team (Jets) missing the playoffs the last 2 years then? Injuries I know but elite is elite. Elite teams overcome injuries.

Eli Manning had a tremendous playoff run last year, throwing for 9 TDs and 1 INT in the postseason. He threw for 1.219 yards which no QB has done in the last 10 years. While you could say that is because the elite QBs did have a bye week in the playoffs and therefore one less game than Eli Manning, that's a valid point. However, it does not diminish what Eli Manning did in last year's postseason. He carried his team to a SuperBowl win and now has one more than his brother. So, yes, I think we can consider Eli Manning an elite QB.
