    Chad Johnson loses an endorsement

APThe Miami Dolphins and VH1 aren’t the only businesses disassociating themselves from Chad Johnson.
Johnson, who lost his job with the Dolphins and his reality TV show after his arrest last week, has now lost his endorsement with deal with the sports drink Zico, a deal that was just announced three weeks ago.
“The Zico brand is about supporting naturally powered athletes,” the company told ESPN in a statement. “We partnered with Chad Johnson because of our great respect for what he has achieved on the playing field. However, in light of recent events involving Mr. Johnson, we have decided to terminate our relationship. The values we espouse, through our employees, our customers and our brand, are central to our mission. We have taken this proactive step to demonstrate just how important those values are.”

Zico gained more publicity by cutting him than by signing him. Never heard of them until now.
