    Freeny signed from Practice Squad

Congrats to Jonathon Freeny - making the 53 man roster. They must really love him. I'm interested to know more about him. Any old Rutgers fans?

He is now wearing #59 instead of #49. Also, Will Yeatman switched to #72 and Lamar Miller is now #26
Please God, let me see 1 Dolphins Superbowl victory before I die.

Congrats to a local Margate kid who no doubt grew up a Fins fan... took lots of hard work and a couple of TCs to achieve this. Having played for Rutgers, I wouldn't be surprised if Greg Schiano was keeping his eye on him.

ANNOUNCING a new FH smiley. Use it judiciously and selectively as to not diminish its impact!

Freeny's career stats at Rutgers: 91 tackles, 20 1/2 tackles for loss, 11 sacks, 20 QB Hurries, 2 forced fumbles. He is also a distant cousin of Dwight Freeny.

Yes! I was hoping miller would change from #44. If he turns out to be good, im buying his jersey. I just didnt like #44 which is more suited more a fullback

One of the last Dolphin runningbacks backs to wear #26 was also named Lamar, as in Lamar Smith.

I think they spent time looking for options outside of Miami. By NFL rules, anyone elevated from the practice squad is on the roster for 3 weeks. Players signed from other places can be cut right away. If they want to sign a vet after the first week, they can't cut Freeney to make room during the next 3 weeks.

No, I'm pretty sure they'll cut the guy who spent preseason with the Texans to make space for Freeney. Oldest trick in the book, pick up a guy who was with your opponent of the week, pick his brains, let him go. This likely was their plan all along.

Otherwise, they didn't like their waiver wire LB pickup and they're going back to the guy they know. I bet of the guys they picked from waivers at least two of the three are cut during the season.
    Why so gloomy?
