    If Ireland Gets Fired

What will that mean for our current regime? Will Philpin and Co be gone because the new GM wants his own cronies? or does Ross find a guy that is willing to work with all of the coaching staff?

Philbin is a Ross hire and will hopefully find a guy that will work with Philbin. If not, we start over again.

one thing for ABSOLUTE SURE, ireland isnt getting fired during the season.

he isnt coaching or playing. what he has done is already done [which isnt much] and firing him during the season wont change any of it.

ireland is slicker than a weasel, dont count him out with ross around. he is to ross what wanny was to wayne huizenga.

Why is this question being asked after week 1?
because irelands moves over the last 4 years got us this embarasment on week 1.

its not based just on opening day, 1 game, but 4 years of AWFUL moves and decisions!!

Yes that's dandy but you don't fire a GM week 1 of a season.

I know we are not firing Ireland in week 1 BUT the question is meant for after the season. I see them keeping the current staff and bringing in a West Coast style GM possibly someone from within the Packers org that would be more contracts etc rather than 90% personel...

It honestly doesn't matter, as long as the GM is gone at the seasons end. Sure it would be nice to keep the HC/OC in place for the young QB . . . but if we bring in a new GM and he wants a new coach, then so be it . . . as long as Ireland is gone thats a step in the right direction.

Personally, I want both Ireland and the West Coast offense gone.
