Just win Phin baby!
I think the answer is Pat not just because he was a 2nd round pick, but because we drafted him to be a weapon.
Legadu was signed to a 1 year contract with the expectations of him being camp fodder but he showed well during OTAs, OchoCinco had his episode, and Hartline had injuries. He wasn't signed to be a weapon and he had been known as a solid 3/4 WR in San Diego.
Pat White was drafted to add another dimension to the Wildcat, but he never looked good. Hell, even Legadu had a couple catches in the preseason, White looked terrible against the 5th and 6th stringers. Plus that added dimension with him in the Wildcat? Turned into Pat handing the ball off in the shotgun. And I'll never forget him throwing a three yard pass into the dirt when the RB had NOBODY around him.
At least Pat White got us a couple of first downs in that "Pistol" formation we ran a couple of times. Too bad we lost a 2nd rd. pick on him. Naanee did absolutely nothing but fumble his only touch.
Well for those that are interested,
Pat White is pursueing an acting career.
Hopefully he is better at that than football?
"What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul."
Comparing both is a crying game.
Pat White costed a 2nd round pick that would have been a talent WR Mike Wallace. Also he was planned to execute the Wildcat and that was a disastrous waste of opportunities that delayed Chad Henne's development.
On the other side Legedu Naanee was a relative cheap free agent that used a spot on a roster, that spot could have been used for similar quality WR or moderated talent elsewhere. A pathetic play turned him into laughingstock.
Costs: A 2nd round pick & 1 high quality roster spot VS 1 low quality roster spot. ==================> Pat White
Best Case Opportunity: A rookie Mike Wallace VS Today's Braylon Edwards. =====================> Pat White
Team Expectations: A wildcat QB for 1/3 of the playbook VS WR2 role. ========================> Pat White
Team Dependency: QB3 without functional replacement VS WR3 with 2-3 replacements. =============> Pat White
Results: 0 of 5 passes, 81 rushing yards, 1 fumble in 13 games VS 1 pass, 19 yards, 1 fumble in 4 games. => Legedu Naanee
Team Record: 6-7 VS 1-3. ====================================================> Legedu Naanee
Effort: Made his best but was knocked out while playing VS Dropped or fumbled every pass on him. ======> Legedu Naanee
DOLPHINS' WORST PLAYER WAS : PAT WHITE
From Mexico, GO PHINS GO!!!
"Yep. Blow it up. This might the worst team I've ever seen constructed in my life.
And then you throw in the terrible preparation and in-game coaching. There is no defense.
But do it right. Fire everyone in the building. No survivors. , JiF Jetnation
Can someone just put it on a loop............lol
Run home to mammy you little ****ing rat.
**** it...I'm just glad neither of them are on the team anymore.
-Dan MarinoI just try to be myself, whatever that is. I don't think about how I'll be remembered. I just want to be consistent over a long period of time. That's what the great players do.
