Fisher is a hell of lot better coach than Sparano. I must admit it felt good sending him home defeated. I badly did not want him having the satisfaction of not only spurning the Dolphins but coming down and beating them as well....in essence justifying his decision.

I'm happy with what Philbin is doing and how it all worked out, but I still wanted a little revenge if I'm being honest.

Attack the Person, Not the Ideas:

Attack the person in some way. For example:
    • Attack their expertise, questioning their qualifications or experience
    • Comment on their inability to make a good argument
    • Attach them to discredited others

    Example

You are not qualified to make such a statement.
You would say that, wouldn't you.
And who do you think is going to believe you.

Attacking the Person is a form of distraction, forcing them into defense and away from their argument.

Actually, Fisher is better than the Meatball but not so appreciably if you go by winning seasons:

    Meatball 1 out of 4 = 25%
    Jeffie 6 out of 16.375 = 36.6%

Neither record is one worthy of writing home about!

Oh, you just can't let it go, can you? What decisions do you question, by both Philbin and Fisher?

Looks like a lot of people just read the box scores & watch the highlights around here.

They were outplaying us, were outcouching us and outscheming us for most of the 1st half of that game.

That was a VERY close game, we got some bad calls by the refs as usual. I think Fisher being on the competition committe is an unfair advantage. Not sure if he still is or not, but he has a relationship with those refs that other coaches do not.

Good win, hopefully with the xtra time Philbin & Sherman can get some WRs up to speed and Egnew as well

Either way the odds were against him. I do feel like he had enough time for one more quick pass to get another 4-6 yards and make the attempt a little more feasible. I'm sure he has access to crazy stats, but here's one for Fisher for next time.

Fisher teams have now lost 8 straight road games and been out scored 206-119 in those contests.

Fisher is now 3-8 lifetime vs the Maimi Dolphins. You got love it. You just can't script it better than this.
