Please...Clinton rode the financial windfall created by Reagan...and made it look even better by slashing the military so badly that the world lost respect for us, leading to two attacks on the world trade center, the attack on USS Cole, the embarrasment of Somalia eventually leading to 911.

Additionally, Clinton started the push on the banking system to make loans to people who were not qualified for them, leading us to the collapse of the banks.

Bill Clinton was a mirage who did more damage to this country than most of the sheep realize.

Wake up.....Obama ran the national debt up more than the first 42 presidents combined....more in 3 1/2 years than Bush did in 8 fighting a ful scale war.

As he has said himself, if re-elected, with no more elections to worry about, he will be free to do whatever he wants....which based on his past 4 years means this country will be so far in debt it will never recover. He will have fully achieved the dreams of his father & mother.

Everything this guy has done reeks of someone who is anti-american.

Clinton was terrible, but not as bad as Reagan.

You really think Obama ran up more debt than every other president combined?

This is why partisanship is so dangerous, there are people out there that are (insert word here) enough to believe this.

Debt at the end of Bush's last budget (sept 2009) ~12.5 trillion, Debt now ~16 trillion...so that "fact" is not even close to being true.

    Partisans...WAKE UP!!!!!!!

Just to add, after you find out your facts are not facts, you have to wonder about who started them, and if your party is so great, why would they ever have to lie about things like that.

Pay attention to detail and you won't mistakes like the one you just made.....................................

The national debt was 5.7 Trillion when George W. took office.....he increased it 4.899 trillion during his 8 years.

So it 10.626 trillion when Obama took office.....It is now 16.637 Trillion.

So.........the federal debt has increased over 6 trillion in less than 4 years under Barrack Hussien Obama.

That means the national debt increased more under Obama than the first 42 presidents combined.

The national debt increased more under Obama in less than 4 years than it did under Bush's 8 full scale WAR years.

    Those are the facts.

National Debt has increased more under Obama than under Bush

    CBS
(CBS News) The National Debt has now increased more during President Obama's three years and two months in office than it did during 8 years of the George W. Bush presidency. The Debt rose $4.899 trillion during the two terms of the Bush presidency. It has now gone up $4.939 trillion since President Obama took office.
The latest posting from the Bureau of Public Debt at the Treasury Department shows the National Debt now stands at $15.566 trillion. It was $10.626 trillion on President Bush's last day in office, which coincided with President Obama's first day.

    What?

    5.7 plus 4.9 = 10.6

    16.6 - 10.6 = 6.

How is six trillion more than 10.6 trillion?

    Again...lack of paying attention.

The first 42 presidents DOES NOT include George W.

So therefore, Obama DID run up more debt than the first 42 presidents combined....Obama was number 44.

Additionally, Obama ran up more debt in less than 4 years than Bush did in 8 FULL SCALE war years.

It's mind blowing that anybody who hopes to have a future in this country is willing to ignore this.

Not that your posts in this threads aren't dumb just on the merits, but this is sheer jackassery.
