By holding Shonn Greene to 77 yards on Sunday the Dolphins have now held the opposing rushers under 100 yards for 21 straight games.
There was a point on Sunday after Greene broke off the long run that i thought the streak was in jeopardy. But being down big the Jets could stick to the running game.
The last rusher to crack the century mark was Ben Tate of the Texans last year in week 2, He rushed for 103 yards.
Here is a link to an article earlier this year that shows our streak at 16, The previous franchise best was in 2002 to 2003 and was 20 games.
I'm trying to find out what the all time record for all NFL teams is. If anyone has a link add to this thread.
On a side note looking forward, when is the most likely chance that the streak will be broken?
How many games will the streak last?
We have Donald Brown this week, but then it gets harder with CJ2K, Spiller, Lynch, Riddley and then Gore.
