Marijuana has been legalized in Colorado and Washington!

    http://touch.chicagotribune.com/#sec.../p2p-73201966/

Under the recreational marijuana measures in Colorado and Washington, personal possession of up to an ounce (28.5 grams) of marijuana would be legal for anyone at least 21 years of age. They also will permit cannabis to be legally sold and taxed at state-licensed stores in a system modeled after a regime many states have in place for alcohol sales.

The Colorado measure will limit cultivation to six marijuana plants per person, but "grow-your-own" pot would be still be banned altogether in Washington state.

Amendment 64 Passes: Colorado Legalizes Marijuana For Recreational Use

The Rocky Mountain High just got a whole lot higher. On Tuesday night, Amendment 64 -- the measure which sought the legalization of marijuana for recreational use by adults -- was passed by Colorado voters, making Colorado the first state to end marijuana prohibition in the United States.
With about 36 percent of precincts reporting at the time of publishing, 9News and Fox31 report that Amendment 64 has passed.

SEATTLE (AP) Washington voters legalized recreational pot use on Tuesday, setting up a showdown with a federal government that backs the drug's prohibition.
Initiative 502 would create a system of state-licensed marijuana growers, processors and retail stores, where adults over 21 can buy up to an ounce. It also establishes a standard blood test limit for driving under the influence.
"Today the state of Washington looked at 70 years of marijuana prohibition and said it's time for a new approach," said Alison Holcomb, campaign manager for the initiative.
History has been made, and it's awesome. But now the worthless ******* Feds will stick their beaks in and try and **** it up for everyone. Because who cares about the will of the people, right? The Feds can eat a dick.

Employers should do the same for alcohol then. I'd rather have a pothead work for me than a drunk any day of the week.

I'm definitely going to a Broncos game or two next season. Fiinheaven road trip! Unfortunately, the Dolphins don't play them next year though.

Let's not be ridiculous. Would you want someone drunk doing open heart surgery on you? Would you want someone high on doctor prescribed, FDA approved medication performing heart surgery on you? The answer is clear. We all agree on that point. I don't believe anyone here advocates anyone working for someone under the influence of anything. I sure don't.

Obviously, that's not the discussion here.

Props for making me laugh. I haven't had a funyun since I was 18 or so...

If I could take your pain and frame it, and hang it on my wall,
maybe you would never have to hurt again...
