Interesting ESPN Walker: All-AFC East midseason team

    http://espn.go.com/blog/afceast/post...midseason-team

"The strength of our defense is the defensive line. There were plenty of stud players to choose from. Dolphins defensive end Cameron Wake (8.5 sacks) has been terrific. His teammate, defensive tackle Paul Soliai, is a brick wall in the middle. Few teams have success running against Miami, and this duo is a big reason."

"The special teams were pretty easy picks. Miamiís Brandon Fields might be the most underrated punter in the league"

"and Miami rookie Olivier Vernon has been a terror on special teams. He has blocked two field goals and recovered a blocked punt for a touchdown. "

I like Vernon getting a little love. Great pick in the 3rd.
Jets suck, Bills suck, Patriots suck.

Wow. Some of these picks are clearly wrong. Jake made it on his name alone and definitely not his play this year. LaRon Landry for SS?? Has this guy done anything all year? Why did he only pick one TE?

I do agree that Brandon Fields is by far the most underrated punter in the league. This man is a beast and gets it done week in and week out.

Very much doubt Long has been the best LT, also I would probably have Reshad Jones over Landry. Haven't seen Buffalo play this year so can't really comment on their players.
