OPINION Team looks tired and without spirit

I don't know if the high tempo practices in training camp or preseason has worn everyone out, or if their are some internal disputes and fractures within the team, but this team is a mess.
It also looks like the AFC teams familiar with Coyle's defense (Colts, Titans) have our number.
What is it with the Ref's and the Fins? I thought we were getting a fair shake with the replacement referees..these regulars make just enough calls against us a crucial times to crush momentum...then throw us the obligatory "Im sorry for that" 5 yarder in the following series when it doesn't matter.
This was a brutal game today. So many questions. I hope Philbin and Co can find some answers.
They should give the team 2 days off this week and regroup this mess...

I think they spent a ton of emotion on the Jets game and are down after loosing the Colts game, a game they should of won. They only lost 23-20 but gave up a zillion yards & catapulted Luck above superhero status. I think losing that game & all the talk this week messed with their minds. They were just not there today

maybe we were better when noone was on our jocks, at least after sunday noone will prob be on our jocks for awhile even if we destroy buffalo and get back up to .500. this game we just looked undisciplined. too many penalties, too many mistakes, more undisciplined than worn out. its gonna take 2-3 years to get the wc type offensive players in here. cogs, long, and jerry will all be gone, we're not gonna be able to fill 3 new starters on OLINE in one offseason, even though the money would could save on long, we might be able to get two. we'll get there but if you think conditioning is what is killing us just look at the oline, we're still built as maulers, maulers get worn out over a season of no huddle.

I fully agree...there was absolutely no urgency, especially on offence where we are supposed to be an up tempo, no huddle team. I think RT has to step up and assume the responsibility for this...get in a guys face if he has to...and get the team going. Beyond that, Bush needs to be allot better at just hitting the holes and stop the east west dancing. Thomas looked better and I'm hoping to see more of Miller. Or Defense just needs to suck it up and play better...period.

I think the Dolphins were over-confident they were gonna beat the Titans so they didn't know how to react when they were down 21-0

For the first time, and I'm not one who harps on attendance, I think the lack of a crowd and the lack of energy in the stadium really played a part in this game. These guys have looked better on the road than they did yesterday. That was by far the smallest crowd I've ever since for a regular season game and I think Ross should let these games get blacked out. If people don't want to show up then they shouldn't benefit by watching it on TV....And spare me the "if this team was better I'd show up" posts cause it's a weak argument. If that's the attitude you take then you have no right to complain.

And make sure you read the "played a part in this game" in my post. It's not the reason we lost, we played like crap, but it plays a factor.
