    how many years

im a tanne supporter, i hope and can see signs of him being the face of our franchise. remember peyton had hellacious interceptions his rookie year. i dont think we can give up on him after one year. other than two games he hasnt been bad, houston and tenn. but if he continues to not have a +TD ration what do we give him,2-3 years. johnny football will prob come out in 2014, do we look his way after 2 years of tanne if he's just adequate. tanne will not cost us a lot of money til after year 4. i think if he's just average AT WORST next year and eliminates the rookie mistakes we give him at least the 3rd year. Ponder showed promise his 2nd year until his faltering, locker is actually not that bad of a qb, we saw that yesterday. i mean we failed as a team, but stats showed he isnt bad. we're not gonna make any major changes next year, i dont feel, and i dont feel we should. but what do we need out of a sophmore tanne to keep from looking into other options. with more weapons (hopefully) and more players designed for this offense, would we be content with a 9-7 and around 60% completion, 3500 yards and maybe a 20-16 ratio td to interceptions. we'd all love 65% 4200 yards and 30-10 but hey, yeah asking alot

Truthfully way to early to have this conversation. Tannehill has been good this season and he deserves some time having to deal with the worse set of pass catchers in the NFL.

That said Miami always should have an eye open at QB until the definitive answer is found, and Tannehill is NOT that guy . . . YET. I think Miami should go into next season feeling comfortable that they have Tannehill and Devlin and should also be looking in the draft for a guy to draft on day 3.

Look at this stat sheet of the Titans defense in the ESPN fantasy league prior to this weekend. How do you let a team that has not even shown up once all season come into YOUR house and spank you?

RT is a good QB!! Probably the best we've had since Marino retired and will probably be our QB for the next several years.. However, I seen something in the Indy game and then again in the Titans game that has me pretty much convinced that he is not going to be one of the elite QB's... IMO.. Ryan doesnt have the "IT" factor on his side.. he hasnt shown the ability to make chicken salad outta chicken chit... and it looks like he will be only as good as the players around him...

Its sad really, because when it became obvious we werent able to get Luck.. I put all my hopes on Ryans ability and well... so far it doesnt look promising.. Lets hope that next year is a better year for him..
    Mr Ross.. you failed us!!!

I like what you posted but would slightly change this sentence to read:

"when it became obvious the Colts would not be denied Andy Luck"

Rookie QBs have bad games occasionally. Tannehill shouldn't have to be perfect every game to make up for the rest of the team ****ting the bed.
