I'm really hoping I find out something otherwise. Because this really changes my opinion of Ryan Tannehill "the person". I get if you're a retired player. But if you're a rookie and starting in the NFL? WTF? That's Mega-douchey. Why in the hell would you do that?

Local paper has a story about this, basically calling him a "whore":
    http://blogs.miaminewtimes.com/ripti...nnehill_fo.php

"$5,000 should be pocket change for this guy, so the whole thing seems a little bit sad, actually."
    Why so serious?

You don't have any problem with that? Your starting quarterback renting himself out on a website for dinners and golf games?

Sure do it and donate it all to children's hospital, that's awesome. But for yourself? Seriously, that reeks of pathetic!

If he wasn't already doing tons of **** for charity I would understand your displeasure but he and his wife both devote their time so who cares?

Looks like a very generic site so who's to say where the money goes or what Tannehill does with it? If 99% of the other athletes on the site are all old and retired maybe they keep the money for profit, Tannehill may be different. Regardless, I don't really have a gripe with it. His salary is mentioned above as if he's making anywhere close to a guy like Sam Bradford or other rookie QBs from before the rookie wage scale.

    No harm, no foul.

Well, I can't quite see it the same way. Every Quarterback in the NFL does charity work, it's sort of an expectation that comes with the job in that city. Again, if he openly states he's doing this for charity - I have no problem. Good on him! If not, this is a class-a douche move in my opinion! You're a starting quarterback in the NFL who just signed a 12 million dollar contract. Do you really need to hooker yourself out for $5000/hr?

Anyone maybe think this isn't real? "Have an extra seat at the game? Ryan will join you and your guests and share insight on the game. Discuss Ryan's career with the Dolphins and his trajectory in becoming a starting NFL quarterback." Wouldn't he be too busy playing????????? Or he'll sit out the game for an extra $7,500? Hmm...

Maybe you can book ahead for the playoffs (bad joke, sorry). But, it's definitely real! Tiki Barber is the guy behind the business/website.

My first thought was that this would be for a college game maybe, but yeah he should probably be preparing on a Saturday rather than attending a game with a 'fan'.

    Hope this is fake.

Honestly this is probably one of those things Tannehill doesn't even remember or recall signing up for. I just browsed through that site some of the biggest nobodies are on that list and you can book a reservation with them.

Anyone here have the sudden urge of partying with career backup, former Dolphins' running back Woody Bennett Jr? If so you can do so right here:
