    Hmmm.

Watching the Bucs vs Panthers and I see Josh Freeman, who last year sucked, is now a very good looking qb, has got me thinking.

They had alot of cap last. Thry got a elite G, elite WR who then opened up the field for the high potential Mike Williams, drafted a damn good RB and a SS.

That's how you build a team, grab top FAs and draft exceptionally, hell they had a new GM to.

Ross needs to see what Tampa did. Fire Ireland Mr. Ross.

Freeman played a great in 2010 too; not sure what happened with that team last year.

They also have a head coach who preaches defense and fundamental toughness. Schiano is just as big a part of their turnaround, if not more so.

So is grabbing 2 elite players that play very important positions that they needed.

Schiano inherited a damn good talented roster, not hard to win with that. Freeman had a slump they say, just a whole entire season lol.

What I was getting at is **** the rumored "Philbin's way", grab some elite talent in FA and build from there.

Mike Wallace, Dwayne Bowe, Greg Jennings NEED to be in a Dolphins uni next year, hopefully Wallace.

The Bucs signed Carl Nick who promptly tore up is foot and is gone for the year.

The Bucs biggest difference is Schiano and having cap room. The Glazer family would allow not Bruce Allen/Raheem Morris to sign any impact play makers.

I live in Tampa, so when they're not blacked out I've gotten to catch some of their games. It's clear Vincent Jackson is helping him tremendously, winning a number of jump balls. But the most important thing for him is that they have a good running game, which you could contribute partially to Nicks as you mentioned. Who playing the Dolphins would be threatened by any sort of Play action right now? No one.

It definitely helps when they have a stud RB in Martin to set up and open the passing game for Freeman and his WRs.
I just try to be myself, whatever that is. I don't think about how I'll be remembered. I just want to be consistent over a long period of time. That's what the great players do.

Its so depressing that your correct.

Mark Dominik has been killing it in the draft. Raheem Morris clearly lost control of the team and they quit on him. Combine a good coach with a talented roster and a couple high priced(but worthy) free agents, your going to have success. Examples such as Tampa Bay are the reason why i am so convinced we need to fire Ireland. If you keep drafting talented players, eventually it will work out. If you cant get talented players, your team will fail no matter what.
