I am from Tennessee. When I was 11 we didn't have a team here. I am 31 right now. The reason I became a Miami Dolphin fan is because when I turned the TV on all that was ever on was the Dolphins. I think it is because of the excitement that was around Marino and the high scoring offense.i watched Marino from about 1991 and on. When he retired I never wavered on being a Dolphins fan. I have Sunday ticket and watch them every week. My biggest heart break was the San Diego playoff game. I also have bad memories of the Bills in the playoffs. Tom Olivadatti I think that's how you spell his name. He could never figure out the Bills screen game. That drove me crazy.

I dont remember why I became a fan. Maybe cause I liked their colors or some ****. Could be because I lived in Syracuse and hated the Bills. Ive been a fan for so long I dont remember.
I believe any man's finest hour - his greatest fulfillment to all he holds dear, is that moment when he has worked his heart out in a good cause and lies exhausted on the field of battle...Victorious

Living in Virginia my entire life, I started to like the Dolphins because I chose Marino as my favorite player around the age of 10. I've stayed with them since.

Raised by my old man that is a die hard Dolfan. I've been brainwashed since day 1 and will forever bleed aqua and orange.
"Fundamentals, technique, execution -- primary. Scheme -- secondary."

"We will incorporate an aggressive, up-tempo, attacking style in all three phases of the game."

"Our team will play with discipline, poise, and maximum effort."

"I want us to be the best tackling team in the NFL, the best team in pursuit, I want to take the ball away from other teams, I want to rattle the opposing quarterback every opportunity we get."

Me too! My parents have pictures of me sitting on my dad's lap watching a Dolphin game when I was about 1 month old. That was back in 75 way before Marino arrived.

Became a fan after watching ace ventura. I was channel surfing in 95 on a monday night when the fins were playing the lions and scott mitchell was the lions qb. Since nothing was on, and I seen Marino and knew he was on the movie, I left it on the game. Never watched a second of football before that, and haven't stopped since.

I think the colors possibly did it for me. I remember seeing a Dolphins vs Chiefs commercial in the 80s and I liked the way Miami looked. I started playing a game called "football" on my Texas Instruments computer after that. It allowed you to name the teams and I always named my team the Dolphins. Then came Tecmo Bowl for the NES in the 80s and Miami was one of the 12 teams they included. It had the NFLPA license so I started learning the players on the team. After that I got hooked and always followed Miami.
