Unfortunately, I expect more out of high draft picks that cost extra picks to get. Is he that much of an improvement over, say, Lex Hilliard? I'm not sure that he is.
Double exactly. As a UDFA that's a quality find for RB depth. Lex Hilliard comes to my mind too. I'd say DT is marginally better, but there's not a high quality starter there. It was just a weird move to go after him so aggressively when he doesn't have near the ceiling of a Demarco Murray. I don't mind having DT on the team as a backup. I don't think he's a natural power back but he's working at filling that role since we've shoved him into it. But what we gave up for him and the eagerness with which Ireland made the move really kind of set the expectation for a 2nd rounder like Murray or McCoy.

Once again, it is what it is and there's nothing we can do about it. Hate to say this but I'm ready for the offseason already.

He has more injuries and concussions then Touch Downs. Why the Love from the Board for this Dude? He is the worst RB we have period. Lamar Miller looks 100% Better.
Daniel Thomas has a Mangina, the Fumbles too...

2nd Round Bust Man. Michael Egnew could end up being a bigger Bust, if that is possible.
He isnt aweful. He is what he is, very very average. Ticks me off we spent a 2nd and a 5th on him.

I believe any man's finest hour - his greatest fulfillment to all he holds dear, is that moment when he has worked his heart out in a good cause and lies exhausted on the field of battle...Victorious

This thread is about our best rb in the last few games? And people wonder why I feel some on here have an agenda against Thomas.

What would indicate there is an agenda? JJ Johnson averaged 3.4 YPC just like DT. Do you consider JJ Johnson a good RB?

Well, we can kind of say the same thing in every thread, right? It's just a discussion. That's why this place is here.

Great, he's currently the best in a crappy backfield. That's like saying CCNY is the best basketball team in the CUNY Athletic Conference. Awesome.

People don't have an "agenda" against Thomas, they have an "agenda" against a ****ty running game. God forbid we expect more out of a second round pick that we gave up picks to get.
