The problem with Harbaugh turning around the SF 49ers is giving everyone all kinds of stupid expectations.

I don't care if we lose out. If anyone should be expendable then it is Ireland who has not shown himself to be the elite GM we need.

Let Philbin quietly work rebuilding this team. If Ireland goes then find someone who knows the blueprint for franchise excellence.

Philbin deserves more time, but he should not be given a hall pass as the season spirals out of control. I still believe his decision to bench Bush hurt team morale and needs to be a strong leader through tough times. He is going to be 4-9 really quick. Things are going to be very difficult for him.

This board really is amazing. After a half a season and people are already asking for Tannehill's head and now Philbin. Funny but I'm sure some of those people want us to keep Ireland who's actually been here for 5 years. Philbin was given a team with very little talent. We have no playmakers on offence other than Miller(who I admit should be getting more playing time but it's hard when we don't run that many plays)and only Wake on defence. He gets at least all of next year depending on what players the new GM(hoping it's a new GM) get us.

    Ozzy rules!!

Tony Dungy won a Superbowl and he was not a rah rah guy. Look what Bill Walsh did as Head Coach of the 49ers. He was not a screamer or rah rah guy either. There are different approches to coaching. Not every coach is a screamer or a guy who bitches players out and screams in their face.
Please God, let me see 1 Dolphins Superbowl victory before I die.

Philbin needs time and he deserves it. Unfortunately, if a few years from now he isn't the guy we are ****ed. Gruden will be back this season, Andy Reid is done in Philly, Chip Kelly is on his way. A lot of great HCs are going to be available.

If this runs Ireland would still pass on half those players.
