Ireland don't play games, or make turnovers, there is nothing wrong with the talent that's here, they just nee d more of it.

Soo you hated last years draft?
if last year was his best draft that says something doesn't it? egnew cant even see the field.. miller also i do think he will replace bush after the season, we got no wrs in the early rounds Mathews looks good but we cant say anything yet this season because most of his picks this season hasn't done anything yet.. but im going for ireland past drafts were pretty awful. Free agency this year was a disaster.. Nannneeeee? really? marshall wasnt bad but he isnt playing now is he.. no deep threats? just plain bad

Ireland needs to go. The stench of former Dallas Cowboys needs to be eliminated from the Dolphins facility.
Please God, let me see 1 Dolphins Superbowl victory before I die.

The draft has been good early on, and the Egnew pick shouldn't be what it is remembered for. Tannehill is starting and has shown hope that he can finally be the long term answer. Martin is the full time starter at RT, and Vernon has made some game changing plays so far this season. As of right now Egnew looks like a bad pick, but you can't ignore the three picks in front of him that are contributing. How many teams have three solid contributors from this past draft right now? I am not defending Ireland, just don't think his last draft was bad at all.

Vernon's biggest impact has been on special teams in blocking two fgs but that's not what we drafted him for. He needs to turn into a consistent pass rusher and he hasn't shown that as of yet. Martin has been ok at times but he's also shown to be overwhelmed at times too. If the biggest praise you can lay on a high second round pick is that well he starts and "contributes", that to me is not a big ringing endorsement. I'm very optimistic about tanny but he still is a rookie who needs to get better and is still an unknown.

I think it speaks volumes that what we point to as Ireland's best draft is one that consists of a tight end who can't see the field, a rb who hardly plays, a de who hasn't done much outside of special teams, a rt that at best can be said to contribute and a rookie qb that still is an unknown.

Most teams would look at a draft like that and be disappointed. Unfortunately we have been subject to some of the most inept drafting the past decade that suddenly a Budweiser tastes like a Pliny the Elder(snobby beer reference)

Jonathan Martin has been a mediocre right tackle at best, Olivier Vernon hasn't helped at all in the pass rush department and Egnew flat out sucks. The jury is still out on Tannehill obviously.

Vernon's sack pretty much sealed the game against the Rams.

Was that the one where he was unblocked and had a clear path to the qb? I'm actually asking. I know he had two sacks. One he beat his man and one were it was a clear path and I can't remember which was when

And that's about the ONLY sacks Vernon has had in 10 games too. Otherwise his passrushing is non existant
