Bitter sauce from them. They had injuries and 9 new starters last season. But in the seasons before that his defenses ranged from fine to quite good. After some research I think the hire is good but the money is cray-cray.

Georgia to hire Jeremy Pruitt from FSU as new DC. I think Alabama fans can agree that's a *big get* for them.

WTF? Why in the hell would he make that move? Did he and Fisher have problems our does he just like Georgia? He was a head coach waiting to happen at FSU with a premier defense and a national title.

Georgia offered him $850k/year where FSU was paying him $500k. He was due for a raise, but he should be a HC within two years, so it's probably moot overall.

FSU is cheap.....and It's always best to be in the SEC...a team like FSU is a stepping stone to better jobs..Keep a eye on Jimbo in the next year or so.
Just the landscape of college football ,now a days..

I figure Jimbo will jump to the NFL in a year or two. I don't think he will do well unless he let's go of the OC duties...he is no Sean Peyton.

I hate to hear about Pruitt although I though we would lose him to a HC position after next year. I am happy for him either way and FSU shouldn't have any trouble attracting a strong DC.
