I do expect the Hawks to go deep and often - with Tate
Tate is a big concern. I believe that Rice is the type of WR which Smith will do well against. Carroll will have to do much better to cover Tate. I would put Jones there with him, and let Smith one on one.

Oh no, here we go. This seems to happen almost every season. The point where 30% of the forum hopes we lose in favor of draft position!

It does happen every season and the fact it does falls directly on this franchise's penchant for failure.

I bet it has not come up in decades on a Steelers forum...

I completely agree. The truth hurts. In today's NFL where teams can bounce back in one or two seasons with the right management and draft picks. Seems like we're perpetually stuck in rebuild-mode.

What you forgetting, or possibly didn't even know, is that it was defence that disappeared in last Hawks' game against Lions. Wilson had a great 4th quarter comeback, until defence decided to let Stafford make every pass and beat us . It's usually the other way around. Nothing against you, but it might just be the very game that both O and D show up and deliver a home-like performance.

The way our o line is playing compared to the way there d line is playing, the d line will roll through us & we will end up sore & sorry.

I just can't see how we move the ball against their D. Their strength is taking care of underneath routes...well, that is all we can do as a passing O. We can't run the ball vs. terrible run D's and now a stout front 7 with no doubt a safety in the box...no chance to move the ball.

We have to take the ball away and score on D and maybe twice. Specials have to come to the party too.

    Long day IMO.

Plus, I think Seattle will be motivated to win a game at "10 am" for once esp. off of a bye.
