Another thread that becomes an argument about 4 road playoff wins like it's a great accomplishment and whose team leads the league in classiness. Great!
I just try to be myself, whatever that is. I don't think about how I'll be remembered. I just want to be consistent over a long period of time. That's what the great players do.

it's not quite like going 12 years w/o a playoff win but winning 4 road playoff games is an accomplishment.

Having the only QB in the history of the NFL to wedge his head up a team mates ass on national TV is quite an accomplishment as well.

A team working on only 1 legitimate non asterisk* (non Polian charity) winning year in 4 years that they actually earned the hard way equates to Sparano territory. Oh wait, at least he won a division championship.

    *7-7+2 laydowns, 11-5, 8-8 (losing 5 out of last 9) and presently 4-7

ANNOUNCING a new FH smiley. Use it judiciously and selectively as to not diminish its impact!

you guys are working on ZERO legitimate winning seasons since 2004. In '05 you beat NE in week 17 who was resting players and cared so much about the game they used doug flutie to drop kick PATs and in '08 you finished w/ 4-5 dead teams to end season so 1 legit winning season is better than zero, right?

and cinci and Indy weren't meaningless games to them in 09... even if Cinci was already for all intents and purposes a dead team walking by game 16???? Right! A team that lost 6 of 7, beat competition in season with a sub .400 winning percentage and lost at home to a dead team in Atlanta in a game they needed to win was as likely to beat the undefeated Colts starters as Woody Johnson being named Father Of The Year!

And aside from being borne out by the Colts starters outscoring the jest 45-27 in games 15 and the POs, wasn't the fact that Polian chose not to try to win realizing he might well face the jets again when it actually counted, the supreme insult in terms of not taking them seriously?

Not to say I told you so, but I told you so. Let the information come out before judging. Joe was right not to cut him immediately like many of you stated.

Amaya's charge getting dropped seemed like a fait accompli. There was apparently no evidence supporting the cabbie's claim.

I posted earlier in the thread simply typing "cut" in the post, but that's only because I figured this staff would have a knee jerk reaction and cut him, being a new regime and all. Every time something happens, it's amazing how people automatically always assume that the person is guilty when they wouldn't want people to assume they were guilty if it were them. Anything can happen. You can't always trust a police report or the defendant's statement.

The law says we are innocent until proven guilty, not the opposite. Let this story be a reminder.

I remember the Randy Starks vehicular arrest on SoBe when a few of our hard-wired "Indict if it's the Fins/if Anyone else, they deserve the benefit of the doubt" were so quick to label him "guilty" cause where there's smoke there's usually fire. Again, that case was dismissed too.
