Come on now... you have VIDEO evidence that he clearly overthrew him.

The lengths people will go to to not criticize the QB here is astounding.

I'm baffled by the lengths people go to to criticize the QB.

Actually he starts to turn his head right at the 25 and the ball lands at the 1. Anyway, I've seen the best QBs miss better wrs by a bigger margin before, its not the end of the world.

I'm not downplaying anything, I am asking a valid question. Look at the replay. Hartline clearly looks back while running for around 15 yards... That doesn't appear to be common practice among WRs in this situation. I am asking if that slows him down enough to miss the connection...

If you want to see a clear overthrow, you could check out this play from the same game:

I dont recall ever seeing a receiver look back for the ball that many yards....I'm sure it has happened but I dont remeber ever seeing it. I kinda wonder the fact that Brian did look back so early did Ryan throw it late...it was pretty impressive on Brians part to keep the speed even though it had to slow him down somewhat. That is not the type of play to put the hate on a QB for.The hate must already be there..........

i dont think soo , if hartline would have not been lookin bk for the ball too early that ball would have been caught ,he lost atleast a good step by lookin bk to early.

I guess Brian wasnt looking back as long as it seamed.....but Brady's pass was over thrown by a mile.....Brady is the QB that should be cut immediately.
