The NFL is so arbitrary in what it will allow on YouTube. This full game sits there for months without disturbance but other uploads cause them to pounce on you.

Notice the first spotlighted comment under that video. The user claims he's going to post the Dolphins/Bears game from 1985. I already tried that. Linked the segments on Finheaven, in fact.

Months later I received one warning and threat after another. I had to yank everything related to that game. At least my channel is still running. I've been able to upload college games, like Miami/Notre Dame 1988 last night.

The user in this case is not as fortunate. I clicked on his name and received this summary:

"ZeppNick03 has been terminated because we received multiple third-party claims of copyright infringement regarding material the user posted."

another interesting tidbit about this game was it was the Browns blossoming safety Don Rogers last game. he intercepted a marino pass in the 1st half. Rogers was well on his way to being an all pro but died that summer of a cocaine overdose. he may have helped prevent the broncos from going on the drive in 86. fate may have been different for cleveland if he didnt pass.

The crazy thing is how crappy the picture was back then. How great would it be to see Dan play in HiDef? Having never been to an actual Dolphins game (My uncle from south FL indoctrinated me), it would have been nice. Every time I watch one of Marino's games, I'm always amazed at how well he saw the field and how quick and decisive he was when a receiver came open. What offense did Miami run in the 80's? Air Coryell?

Thanks rob19. The channel name is AwsiDooger.

I've got mostly old sports videos. Started with horse racing, then moved to Olympic events and football. There's also some boxing and tennis. Golf, including Ryder Cup singles from 1991 and 1993. A little bit of basketball. Primarily high profile events. My dad had a couple of home movies of the University of Miami campus from the mid '50s, and Miami vs. Florida football in 1956, so I included them.

I posted some Dolphins material but I think the only ones that remain are Theismann stripping Bokamper in the 1982 season Super Bowl, some highlights of the Dolphins/Jets AFC Championship Game from the same year ("Life is marble and mud...), and a couple of segments from a Dolphins video spotlighting the early years of the franchise. One is titled simply "1972 Miami Dolphins" and includes some interviews.

As I indicated, I had the entire Miami/Chicago game on there at one point but had to pull it. The NFL is a stickler for copyright and so is NBC relating to anything Olympics, especially recent. This summer it was ridiculous when they made me pull the 1988 Olympic videos of Janet Evans' races simply because they used those clips this year when she attempted a comeback. The winner of the 800 freestyle this year, Katie Ledecky, said during the poolside interview after her victory that she watched Evans' Olympic races on YouTube leading up to the games. Now she wouldn't have that chance.

Thanks. I forgot to mention I have Bob Griese's retirement announcement on my channel, the local TV coverage from that day. It includes a few clips from the Super Bowl win over the Vikings.

That was one of the crimes of YouTube, that they pulled the full Dolphins/Vikings Super Bowl. Somebody uploaded the entire game a couple of years ago, in something like 18 segments. Ray Scott as lead announcer. Younger fans could have had an opportunity to watch the vintage Dolphins play an entire game.

It is a shame that they don't allow some of this older material to be posted, especially since they don't host it on nfl.com as part of NFL rewind. Maybe they will in the future though. I pay for rewind and its great to see full games from as far back as 2010, but it would be awesome to watch full games from the 70s and 80s.

    EDIT:

LOL, I just logged into my Youtube account and I got a takedown notice for a video clip of Tannehill throwing ONE pass to Hartline. Wow, they are serious.

our receivers suck... gotta get our young gun some weapons, and work on that defense a bit. Tony Nathan is a beast
    I just want to win.
