BPA at a game changing position (WR, TE, DE, S, CB). Yes Jeff, if you draft a god damn O-lineman in the 1st and I'll be first in line at the pitchfork party.

DE, WR, CB/S In that order.

What I want out of FA and the draft a DE, 2 LBs with speed, CB, 2 WRs, RB (if bush walks), 2 new Gs

Ireland will probably get a kicker!
Maybe we trade Ireland to Dallas for a GOOD GM!!! (Hey, we can dream can't we?)
Seriously, wide receiver first then BEST pass rusher available then BEST corner available. I just wish we had better talent evaluators.

Better value? The rookie cap has made 'value' in the first round rather ambiguous at this point. He'd be cheap, in my assessment. Furthermore, this thread is about drafting at #13. He'd be a hell of a pickup at #13. He won't be around at that point, so it's moot. However, you draft to make your team *better*. Te'o would make this team better.

And lastly, drafting to *fill holes* is what has put Miami in this position. They passed on play makers to fill a position of need. Look how that has turned out.

No disagreement there. My argument is that if somebody like Te'o *is* sitting around at #13, draft him. Screw need in that situation. You know better than most that drafting for 'need' has had us pass up on some fantastic players in the past.

If the Dolphins are around 13th I'd look at Bjoern Werner, Jarvis Jones, Dee Milliner, Dion Jordan or Keenan Allen. Some of those guys will be off the board, but that's about the pecking order I would have. No doubt Miami needs receivers badly, but I think they can get quality there in the 2nd and 3rd rounds. Not a lot of talent, I don't think, at corner. Lots of pass rushers and I'd look to get two fairly early. If I were Miami's GM, I'd keep a big note in front of me that says -- to beat the Patriots you've got to put constant pressure on Tom Brady. That, and getting Tannehill weapons, has to be the focus of the 2013 draft.

We need a tight end desperately. Fasano sucks.

Charles Clay will pick up his blocking so TE is not a top need now. We really need speed and size at WR and LB. We also need a CB that can catch.

Tight end can also be addressed in free agency. Also means we wouldn't have to wait for a rookie tight end to catch on.

hopefully our first five picks contains a WR, CB, DE, OG and perhaps another receiver or a free safety
