Bill Belichick on "putting the tape on"
http://www.independent.co.uk/news/wo...s-8422298.htmlThe mother of Adam Lanza, the gunman who killed 20 children and six adults in one of America’s worst ever school massacres, was a “survivalist” preparing for economic and social collapse, it has emerged.
Inside the piece though they report Adam Lanza's uncle said the boy was prescribed Fanapt, a controversial anti-psychotic medicine.
Fanapt is a type of prescription medicine used for the treatment of schizophrenia in adults.
So it looks like he was on a medication for schizophrenia. In fact, he is on one that a huge chunk of psychiatrists won't even prescribe because we don't have enough information on it. On top of that, his mother was a survivalist preparing him for the possible end of the world. So it looks like he did have schizophrenia, almost assuredly paranoid schizophrenia, and was on a medication for it that most psychiatrists won't even prescribe because not only does it not always work, it has been known to enhance these psychotic breaks. Addtionally, he had a mother convincing him that the world was about to collapse. She was telling a paranoid schizophrenic that the world was going to end and teaching him how to use guns. Yeah, there was no way that was going to end well. This is on the mother.

I use to have a 30-30 but sold it.
Hmmm ... 2.5 years later my collection has expanded a good bit.
Interesting to re-read this thread later on.
Nothing has changed in regard to national legislation, some states have tightened a few regulations & some have relaxed a few regulations.
Somehow, the sky hasn't fallen.
1) Win the next game.
2) See goal #1

I don't know how anyone can sleep at night without having a gun in the house.
Reddit page is the same website, just happened to find it easier to navigate.

I respect people on both sides of the issue. There is no definitive right answer. I own one gun, I used to own a very nice sig Sauer 45 but when I went back into army it was too much of a pain because you can almost never have it with you. I had a soldier that needed money and he sold me his sig p 250 nothing special but very reliable.
I think there are a great amount of people that shouldn't have guns, they don't have the proper mindset and respect of what a gun can actually do. They don't have the temperament to know that a gun is not something you use when angry or that it's not a security blanket to do any asinine thing you like. Unfortunately there are many irresponsible gun owners that just see them as toys and not the dangerous devices they can be.

the us gun debate is so damn bitter on both sides. I dont have a view on what you should do, do what you like.
But the idea of some of the morons over here just walking into a supermarket and buying a gun? ****ing terrifyingly.
