Agreed. The only reason most of us thought that Marshall was a good signing is because it was assumed that he would be paying FS, where he was pretty effective in Arizona.

Would rather have Vontae and no late second round pick and spent the money we spent on Marshall on a real player in reggie Wayne. Davis has always been a better corner than Smith or Marshall

And those who also get it, know that Ireland gets it. Those who are clueless are still concerned about cornfed and the running game"

Marshall was ranked by PFF to be just as good as Vontae Davis, and he added the extra FS versatility. That's enough for me.

Maybe based on one season. Marhsall was thoroughly torched his whole career in carolina thus why he ended up in Az playing for peanuts. Marshall was horrible through the few games he was healthy here when we were giving up 300 yards a game.

This isn't even a valid arguement. Reggie Wayne didn't want to come here.

Just a thought, but maybe he had vision. I mean you say lack of vision yet Miami has about $40m to play with in free agency and 5 picks in the first three rounds and 10 overall. This years crop of WR, CB and TE is better than last years and now he has money to go out and actually do something with it. In the NBA teams do this all the time, so why couldn't an NFL GM?

We didn't even make Reggie Wayne an offer, how would ANYONE know that he didn't want to come to Miami?
I'm here to tell the truth about top secret Air Force project BAR STOOL. Gamma ray radiation from the particle accelerator under Joe Robbie Stadium is real! Get out while you can! This bad football team is just a front for something far more sinister!

Well we did have intereviews out of his own mouth he said he was very interested but of course that doesnt fit in well with making up a theory that we could not impoved the wr position so people make things up
