First winning record at home since 2008

Well that's one nice bit of progress this season, ok yes we didn't have the toughest home schedule this season but at the end of the day you can only beat what is in front of you and this is a nice step towards turning the team around. To get success the first thing you need to do is win your home games.

Apart from the Titans game we have been competitive in every game this season, whilst we have had issues this year we are heading in the right direction.

Maybe it will help lead to an uptick in attendance next year.

That is a very good thing for this organization!
Was looking back at our schedule, and it looks like we will only have 2 wins against playoff teams during the season, Seattle and the Bengals.
On a positive note, we did play NE and SF closer than most expected, and we have a chance to improve to 3 wins this coming Sun!

2 is nothing to sneeze at. Keep in mind we didn't have a win against a team with a winning record last year. 2 wins against playoff caliber teams is not bad at all.

On a negative note, Miami has been playing up or down to the level of their competition for years. Using this season as an example, a win against Seattle is offset by a loss to the Titans, which explains why Miami continuously hovers around the .500 mark. What has really frustrated me over the years are games like the losses to NE and SF; Miami plays hard and keeps it close, but in the end they just don't have the talent to come up with the win. Year after year I keep hoping that they will finally get some playmakers to get over that hump and win those close games against quality teams. This year wasn't it... again. Maybe next year?

Many people do not realize how huge this is. Got to protect your house and establish that presence at home. The crowd will come when we start winning on a consistent basis.
