OPINION Could Dimitri Patterson be what we are missing

I know it was one game but this guy played very well last week. If he has a big game this week against the pats, could he be our starter going into next season? He played one game and I would take himover S.Smith any day. He played aggressive, came up and tackled well, but yet was under control. I like him. Add a another good corner via FA or the draft and our cornors could be greatly improved.

well he want what philly or Cleveland was missing unless they were missing a corner that was contstantly burnt. If he want to redo his contract which he probably wont since his true value is closer to minimum value and getting cut would be more profitable overall when he signs elsewhere. I Wouldnt take him over Smith I have seen much more than 1 game from this guy. The last straw for him incleveland was when he helped Kirk Cousins look like Dan Marino along with the rest of the cleveland secondary. get nfl rewind and go back and look at his cleveland games and his last weeks in philly

I also agree that one game is a small sample size BUT he played real well the last game given that he JUST joined the team. Yeah, playing CB is the same everywhere but communication staggers if you relocate. I remember him playing well in Philly. He didn't get beat ounce against a slightly above average WR corp. The real surprise here has been the play of McCann. He's been playing AMAZINGLY well the past two games. I've been dissecting every down hes played and his man coverage is tight. He was the one that help shut Stevie Johnson down. Smith got beat by Johnson early but after he went out injured McCann stepped in and did well. I invite you guys to go back and appreciate his coverage. Patterson's as well.

Get Marshall back, draft a corner and let it be an all out competition...he looked great though.of course the pats will be the true test

Was I not paying attention last game? Why is everyone so high on Peterson? I didn't see anything that made me think he could start for us in the future.

This thread is a reminder of just how low the level of talent is in our secondary.

A little premature, how many interceptions or passes defended did he get? ZERO

For his contract amount, I'd say no.

Based on physical ability, I'd say maybe. He might be ok for depth.
