That was not the Vikes normal starting QB. Joe Webb started yesterday because Christian Ponder was hurt. Ponder though has definitely had his ups and downs and I would much rather have Tannehill.

When I die I want to hire the Miami Dolphin's to be my pallbearers so they can let me down one last time.

Agree with this 100%. We have got to keep Luck out of the equation and not compare their timing of development. In 4 or 5 years that comparison would be fair.

Lol Andy Dalton is not a good Quarterback. He's average at best, and hes the reason the Bengals will never be anything but a team that goes out in the wildcard round of the playoffs. Sure you can surround him with talent, but Dalton will only take you so far.

He just doesn't have the physical tools necessary to be an elite QB.

The interception was AJ Greens' fault. He gave up after Dalton kept throwing uncatchable balls to him on 1-on-1 coverage. How the hell can you throw the ball out of bounds when you have AJ Green covered by someone a foot shorter than he on the sideline? Lol.

Re: Watching Dalton really makes you appreciate Tannehill

    Interesting thread.

Dalton is a solid NFL player, nothing flashy but wont often let you down. He is probably overall ahead of Tannehill atm due to Ryans inconsistences. Dalton will be the same player in ten years time that he is now... solid. Tannehill has the potential for greatness in him If he meets that potential Tannehill will be a qb remembered by the NFL.

That is the difference between Tannehill and Dalton.

I want to wait until after next year before I start making QB comparisions with Tannehill. Teams will have a whole year of film to prepare for him and I want to see how he responds. Frankly, I think Tannehill needs to work his butt off this off-season to get his skills where they need to be.
