    GM 2013 cleaning house.

Everyone is thinking playoffs or bust
But i think we might dump all of sparano players, that dont fit philbins system.
Bye long, for a draftee that fits the zbs we are trying to implement.
Bye hartline, for a Fa veteran, jennings, wallace, or Bowe.
Trade dansby for draft pick. Replace with a young mlb, that can grow yo lead the defense.
I think next years dolphins well be a rebirth.
New logo, new players, youngest team in the league.
I think thats the plan. This year got to know the players.
Next, he redesigns the team with Ireland
to his taste. Then year three its playoffs or bust. Jmho

If Miami is a smart franchise they'll keep Hartline and Dansby. Hartline isn't a #1 or even a #2 but he was solid and will be better with other legit targets for defenders to focus on. As disappointing as Dansby has been since signing with Miami, i'm afraid he's more valuable to the Dolphins than a draft pick.

    Its hard to sell rebuilding.
But its what parcels did. He built a slow, run first team.
    Made for 3 4 defense.
Fast, wco, 4 3 defense takes time to build

Agreed. You can't do everything at once.

I thought this was going to be a ridiculous coaching staff thread. PHEWWW...

But to take this seriously, Wouldn't getting rid of Jake Long, Fasano, possibly Sean Smith, and maybe even (hopefully not) Reggie Bush be enough house cleaning in one year for you?

Hartline isn't going anywhere. If I i'm getting rid of one of our "better" receivers, its Bess at this point. Hartline has chemistry with Tannehill and that will only improve with more weapons. If it was up to me (which nothing ever is), I would give Bess another year with a legit #1, Hartline, a LEGIT TE (hopefully Eiffert in the first), and maybe another rookie WR later in the draft. If he doesn't perform better, he either doesn't work for Tannehill, our system, or both. And as much as I hate to say it, BESS will be the goner at that point. Hartline will be a fin for years barring serious injury.

You can't build a winner in only five years.

That's too much change in one year. If Ireland and Philbin don't win next year they'll both be fired.
