Sorry didnt post right but my point is dansby most career tackels this year we cant let him go how many more years is he under contract? Just need more big plays from him but he is the leader of D. 101 solo tackles more then he has ever had.

I don't think he is going anywhere. He is signed thru 2014

Signed a five-year, $43 million contract. The deal contains $22 million guaranteed, including a $16 million signing bonus. An annual $200,000 workout bonus is available throughout the contract's life. 2013: $6.05 million, 2014: $9.05 million, 2015: Free Agent

Maybe let go in 2014 when his salary jumps to 9M, but 6M for your leading tackler and leaders is worth keeping.
Like you said he needs to start making more impact plays if he expects to collect the 9M in 2014.

Also since he was given a $16M bonus the Dolphins are carrying 4.6M in dead money. So to cut him would cost almost as much as keeping him.

TACKLES HAVE LESS OF AN EFFECT THAN TURNOVERS

How many turnovers did Dansby have all of last season?
If you guessed ZERO you would be correct

With Arizona he had 22 turnovers as well as 25.5 sacks
with us he has 4 turnovers and 6 sacks

Not sure why we have to pay Dansby for his production while he was in Arizona

The only thing i wonder is if we had shuffled our linebackers around playing Koa at SAM, Burnett in the middle, and Dansby on the weakside like he played with the Cards would Dansby come up with more impact plays?

Do you not realize how well Dansby played all season long? He earned his contract this year.

Dansby doesnt get near enough credit around here. By any linebackers standards he was awesome this season.
Im selling a club level ticket to the Dolphins v Raiders in London - will sell it for below face value. PM me if your interested.

Wrong Angle Dansby sucked last year and will suck more this year. If he wasn't taking the wrong angle to a play he was out of the play entirely.
