Pittsburgh Steelers running back Chris Rainey was arrested Thursday morning and charged with one count of simple battery (dating violence), the Gainesville, Fla., police department confirmed. The arrest quickly cost Rainey his job.

So this did happen in Gainesville, I wonder if it was the same girl.

This serves as one of those reason why personally I'm not that critical of the FO as most seem to be! When they don't take a chance on players with checkered past. We cry and criticize about the Dez Bryant and Santonio Holmes this FO could have but chose to by-pass. Can you really blame them? Obviously, I want to win just like everyone else, but sometime you just gotta draw a line in the sand and say, NO!

Rarely once those two players, as examples I just mention Byrant and Holmes start acting like idiots! Do you hear people come back and say, "You know what that was a good call by this FO?"

Dez and Santonio are both pro bowl players though. We're talking about a 3rd/4th string RB. Completely different scenario.
Jets suck, Bills suck, Patriots suck.

Scumbag? Sure. Explosive, young and cheap? Hell yes. This team needs speed like Dylan Klebold needed therapy.
Low risk, reasonably high reward. Do it Ireland.
If 3.9 yards per carry and a long of 19 yards is explosive we've got explosive all over this roster.

Is the conclusion suppose to be, "You can be a problem player/person as long as your NOT a 3rd/4th string RB?"

Sadly in the NFL thats the case.

You really think the Dolphins would release Wake or Dansby if they got arrested?
"What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul."

Pro Bowl calibur since neither has ever been selected to go to Hawaii. Although Dez probably should have been voted to go this year.
