Actually the bigger **** up was not grabbing Long and then trading up ahead of the Ravens to snare Flacco who unlike another QB who rises to the biggest games of the year to the tune of 1-4, has gone 8-4 in the playoffs, this season with about a 116QBR, 8 TDs, 0 Ints, 2011, 96QBR, 4TDs, 1int and 2010, 88QBR, 3TDs and 1Int. Flacco out performed legendary Brady and Peyton in the last 2 games and actually drew up a blueprint on how to win from behind (vs how to lose or almost lose from way ahead.)

Parenthetically, a lot of the folks still mourning for Matty were the same ones who were upset over passing on Brady Quinn... yet I wonder why no one is still belaboring that "terrible" decision... especially considering that with Quinn on board as the 10th pick in 07, Ryan would have never been in the 08 draft discussion at all.

Likewise Seattle would be playing this week if Russell had Julio Jones, Roddy White and Tony G lining up with him. It wouldn't have been close.
