Wow, didn't expect a change of heart by Chip.
Shocker. One would think NFL teams would shy away from guys who have it made at their jobs at the college level. This just reeks of a Nick Saban/Bobby Petrino/Dennis Erickson type of situation to me. (Steve Spurrier is another example, although there are a couple of other issues there that are seldom voluntarily discussed.) I know there's other guys who made the jump that have made it like Jimmy Johnson and Harbaugh, but if I was an Eagle fan I would feel a little nervous about this.

HANG IT UP FOR HARBAUGH!
This seriously feels like Nick Saban part 2 again. I feel bad for Eagle's fans, they're about get bent over. The owner upped the deal to get Chip to say yes. Just like Huizenga.
It's never a good sign when a coach decided to stay in college ball, but changes his mind a week later when money is thrown at him.
I give him two years before he goes running back to college ball. Dumb move on Chip if you ask me. Dude was a GOD in Oregon, National Championship team ready to go. Building a dynasty and a legacy only to follow the bank. It's not as if he had a bad contract with Oregon.
"What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul."
