I'm going on record-WR! We need someone fast, sure handed, and can fight for the ball in the air. We need this special player to take some coverage away off of Hartline. Suddenly with the new receiver, Hartline and Bess, we will earn some respect from defenses.
Defenses don't fear Hartline, Bess and player "X" in the 3rd spot.

Have to get Tannehill some help. He needs some quality receivers to throw to.

    Just win Phin baby!

Wide receiver. I like Hartline and Bess but where the hell were the other receivers?!

WR is up there. DE is up there. CB is up there. TE to a lesser extent.

It is incredibly difficult to make this decision. If you force me to choose one position it will have to be WR. Unfortunately, adding a WR won't make much of a difference. With the exception of Wake, Dansby, Denney, Fields, Solai and Starks, there isn't a position on this squad that couldn't be effectively upgraded (and note, I deliberately left Tannehill and Long off of the list -- Jake needs to get healthy before he becomes indispensible again). The fact of the matter is that our talent is mediocre at best and that we are much farther from being competitive with the best teams in the league than most people are willing to admit.

Look at the number of points scored by the winning teams in the last round of the playoffs. It has gotten to the point where you have to put up forty points a game to be a top level team in this league. The Dolphins struggle with a mostly ineffective offense to put up twenty. Adding one wide receiver who can stretch the field isn't going to close a twenty point a game gap between where we are and where we need to be. The majority of the team needs to be upgraded with better players. This is why I am so convinced that Ireland has to go. He is responsible for putting the current set of mediocre talent in place. If this is the best he can do picking players for the Parcell/Sporano system then why should we believe he will be any better at picking players for the Philbin system? In the end it won't matter anyways, Ireland will draft another DT to play at DE or will draft another corn-fed lineman who can't move worth a damn to upgrade us at guard.

you should've made it an open poll. WR. absolutely. you get a mike wallace in here to stretch the field, it opens the running game, and opens bess and hartline to having better production. you start to try to take them out and fasano can have more production. Take him out and if used properly bush will eat you alive.

Pass Rusher - Wake is all by himself
Seriously, did you have to quote that long as post?

I look at it in a couple of different way. First, Miami needs to be able to beat New England and the best way to do that is constantly harassing Tom Brady. We need one more elite pass rusher to do that, maybe two. No question wide receiver is the weakest spot on the team right now and we seriously need an upgrade there as well.

Looks like it is around 88% wanting a Wide Receiver. I hope we sign either Wallace, Bowe or Jennings. I think Jennings would probably be the best fit and value. Then we need to draft another WR with one of our first three picks.....Keenan Allen, C. Patterson or Stedman Bailey.

We're 7th in the league in sacks - he's doing fine all by himself. We're 26th in the league in passing yardage - our WR's are not doing fine all by themselves.
