Here is the original item from barry jackson.

People who spoke to the Dolphins’ front office say Miami is pessimistic about its chances of re-signing Jake Long but will keep working at it. Long, believed to be seeking at least $10 million a year, scoffed at Miami’s first offer during the season, according to a teammate.

I'd let go of everyone besides Starks and Smith. The rest of them are all easily replaceable and want way too much $$.

These are all too much. we can't just let them ALL walk.

I say pay Sean. 6 years bothers me but hes worth that amount per year. If we can cut a year off I'd be happy.

**** Long. 10 mill just isn't worth it.

I'll give Hartline 4-4.5 per year
Long can walk and to be honest so can Smith at that price. Hartline might want 6 million a year, but he will be hard pushed to find a team willing to give him that. As a result of that I would not be shocked to see him come back at under 5 million/season.

Jake Long's first 3 years were great but his last 2 years have been subpar and he's had injuries that ended his season. I don't think Ireland will give him 10m/yr but some other team will.
