I personally do not agree with your take on a possible way a new revolution would go.
Are you sure drone strikes or Air Force strikes would even be on the board? If so, for how long?
It also seems to me that a least a portion of our armed forces would be with the revolution, and with that exception could that collapse the chain of command in some cases?
What would the press report after a drone strike within our borders on citizens defending the law of the land? What would that do to the rest of the population?
Well if we have a tyrant, it's because they have the military behind them. You don't become a tyrant without a way to hold your power. You can't assume a scenario where a tyrant has taken hold of the U.S. and the military has been weakened. That's not a plausible scenario. Of course, we're talking about a tyrant seizing control of the U.S., so plausibility went out the window a few pages back...
