Are there actually people of a certain political ideology who need to go into the fantasy world of movies and television to find great men making great speeches? That's as funny, and dumbed down, as tuning into the Daily Show for the news.

You may want to rethink that. We had a little discussion a while ago about Rocky. I said it is pathetic to symbolize a movie character of which I got the response from the right that he still emphasizes the "American Values". Therefore that stupid statue in Philadelphia is validated.

As i remember that, we were comparing symbolism, and Rocky does portray the never give up attitude we were talking about. You were defending a worthless UN bill that we already enforce as law here as having value for symbolism. Your redundancy argument is ridiculous.

That "stupid Statue" has nothing to do with anything, except maybe in your lilte warped version of reality.

That was the second time the Rocky statue came up. I don't think the first time you were involved.

What's the difference if a speech is made by a person or a fictional character?
Not every human is a manipulative, opportunistic, letch... or at least that's what I'm told.

Besides, I referred to it as a rant and a monologue. If I wanted a speech, I could have pulled several off of the internet. This guy is just mad because the Jeff Daniels character rips apart him and his tea party friends...

If I could take your pain and frame it, and hang it on my wall,
maybe you would never have to hurt again...
