LMAO Peter King's Super Bowl City Rankings

Not that this is that important, but I literally fell to the ground laughing when he listed his Super Bowl city rankings:

My Super Bowl city rankings: 1. San Diego, 2. New Orleans, 3. Indianapolis, 4. Phoenix, 5. Dallas, 6. Tampa, 7. South Florida. I'd very much like L.A. and San Francisco to get back in the mix. (Why Miami so low? Too spread out. Everything's a hassle. Convenience rules.)

You can make an argument about San Diego and New Orleans, but Indianapolis and Dallas? Seriously? Peter King must be the only guy in America that would rather be in Indianapolis than Miami in the beginning of February. Forget the great weather (most of the time), South Beach, and beautiful woman, I would rather be able to walk across the street to Starbucks.

Miami is too spread out, but he wants LA to get back in the mix. I guess Peter obviously has never been to LA before.

I am usually a big fan of his, but what he said was pretty ridiculous.

Peter King's Super Bowl City Rankings

It's a media perspective. All the media guys loved Indy because the stadium is central to downtown and all the events were easy to get to.

You should feel happy to be there. We'll fall lower on may lists once new stadiums are unveiled.

That's why I don't understand how Mike Dee gets away with his simplistic presentations. One of the commissioners should have asked him how many new NFL stadiums he expects within the next 10-15 years. Not patched. Truly new and spectacular. Those new venues are added to Miami's competition going forward. You can't be stupid enough to look at it within a static framework.

That is definitely a head scratcher...who the hell wants to enjoy 70 degree weather on a nice, crisp sandy beach in the dead of winter when you can have a REAL, LEGITIMATE icy winter experience like the poor S.O.B.'s who will be attending next year's Superbowl in NEW JERSEY!

Sun Life Stadium is 26 years old, it is old but I think the argument of renovating it is very much a realistic argument to have instead of just demolishing it and building a new one. This isn't a 53 year old Candlestick Park that has finally run its course. Sun Life may never be able to compete with the technology savvy Cowboys Stadium, but it can still be one of the league's better stadiums if it gets its renovations. If locals are complaining that the Dolphins are looking for $199 million of public money to renovate it(money that tourists, not locals will pay) how will they ever accept a brand new stadium at roughly $1.5 billion? The goal is to get back in the regular rotation of Super Bowls and to land the coveted Super Bowl L, and that is what these renovations will accomplish.

If my car gets a dent in it, I will repair it, not buy a brand new shiny car. If my basement starts to get water in it, I am not going to move, I am going to fix the problem. Not a good business decision to always start over and throw large amounts of money at problems that can be corrected with much smaller amounts of money.

When the Super Bowl was in Indianapolis the weather was like high 50s low 60s. And of course it's easy to get to everything in downtown Indy, basically just walk to everything.
