No doubt these "rewards" result in mega-infusions of spending .. however let's see if those "citizens" who voted the billionaire owners a free ride while they continue to get hosed with increasing admission, parking and concession prices which were already exhorbitant see the benefits of their collective spending translate into lower state income or sales taxes, or decreases in the costs of public transportation or conveyances like toll bridges, tunnels and turnpikes.
What ever happened to the concept of investment spending to make money instead of suckling on the public tit? From both a revenue and equity build standpoint, owning an NFL team is a license to print money. If the league office was truly egalitarian instead of being the owners puppets, pressure would rightfully be brought to bear on thei owners, not the municipalities that enrichen them.
Wisdom from a "QB Whisperer::
"No we have our FRANCHISE QB and I want to keep him rather than get 2 guys who may or may not be productive NFL players.
Palmer's situation is different and if I had my choice between Palmer and buttfumble, I'd take buttfumble"
