    Steven Jackson Anyone?

I know it's still what 58 days until free agency and a lot of players won't be available who are now. But I am intrigued to see Steven Jackson on the list for now. Personally, I'd take Jackson over Reggie Bush and be happy about a combo of Jackson and Lamar Miller. My question, assuming Jackson gets to the open market, will he receive the same type of money as Bush? If so it's essentially trading Bush for Jackson money wise. I like that. Jackson is a power back something we need to balance out the running attack. Thomas hasn't shown much in his two years so it's hard to project him stepping up.

I know there are bigger fish to fry than running back, but just wanted to put it out there for discussion.

I like it. I have always liked Jackson. I know he is nearing his end but the dude can play. He is that power back we need along with Miller. Maybe a Jackson, Bush, Miller backfield with Thomas getting the boot. That would be cool, not likley, but cool.

I'd love to have that beast. At the right price he'd be a great addition.

I believe he's still got some gas in the tank

And if u wanna see a back hit a hole hard man does he do it

Yeah I would give him 2-3 year contract... Cheap though

He should come cheaper than Bush and I think will fit perfectly next too Miller, He could also hopefully groom up Daniel Thomas since they are built similar.

I would take Bradshaw over any of these older backs. History says, a back like Jackson, will hit the wall, sooner rather than later.

Bradshaw at 26 is a far superior RB than the once superior S. Jackson.

This would be a really nice fit but I think he will want more than I'd be comfortable paying. Would complement Miller very nicely though and runs like a possessed beast: prototypical short yardage guy. A Jackson+Miller backfield is far superior to a Bush+Miller+Thomas combo IMHO.

Bradshaw can't stay on the field, the guys a medical nightmare. i wouldn't touch him.

Steven Jackson will be 30 in a few months. Damn near 2400 carries on those tires.

While Bradshaw does have issues staying healthy. I still go with the younger player, especially at RB.

I would for sure as a complimentary back and I'm not sure Jax thinks he's a complementary guy. He just gets injuried to often to be the 20 touch back he once was. If he's willing to accept a timeshare role he'd be perfect fit next to Miller

True on Bradshaw. But I would still take the 26yr old.

A 30yr old RB, with almost 2400 carries, says the wall isn't to far off in the near future. By NFL standards.
