Possible Pery Harvin available for maybe a 3rd Rounder?

Guys what are your thoughts on this? It makes good sense if we could get Spielman to bite on that.

An NFL executive tells NFL.com's Ian Rapoport he would be "shocked" if the Vikings netted better than a third-round pick for Percy Harvin.
Then the Vikings should keep him. The executive apparently believes the pricey extension Harvin will command including perhaps in excess of $30 million guaranteed will depress his value. Harvin's character and health concerns are also working against the Vikings. It wouldn't be shocking if a team enamored with Harvin's talent took the plunge and ponied up a second-rounder, but a day-one pick is looking like a pipe dream for GM Rick Spielman. I would give a third rounder for him but u have to figure out what it takes to resign him. Harvin is somewhat overrated but he is a weapon. He in Bush on same team would be dangerous

its not a 3rd rounder for a headcase/injury prone player, albeit a great player... its a 3rd rounder plus 14 million dollars per year to sign him to an extension.

Lets think about this.... you get rid of Brandon Marshall, a talented, expensive, "malcontent"..... to replace him with a more expensive, talented, oft injured malcontent??? i don't see us making this move

Hell I want 14 Million a year too doesn't mean i'm gonna get it. I don't see a team paying him that due to his constant migraines and his injury history. I's say he's worth more like 8-9 per year.

Now I'm curious. Explain an overrated weapon to me.

He said he wants to be paid like an elite receiver - 10M/year I heard he wants. Minny can keep him for that

I would have to imagine he meant due to his vast injury concerns.
I believe any man's finest hour - his greatest fulfillment to all he holds dear, is that moment when he has worked his heart out in a good cause and lies exhausted on the field of battle...Victorious

No way he demands or expects 14 million per year. And i would absolutely trade a 3rd for him. He's as good a talent as Brandon Marshall and we traded 2 2nd round picks for him.

I think our 2nd 2nd round pick and a 4 year, 8 mil per year deal would get it done. Mike Wallace at 10 mil per year and Bess in the slot...Big, big things.
