He will demand close to $10 million per year and if we sign him, the odds of us getting a big name FA WR will drop drastically.

I did not know he'd command so much money...looking at his stats now, the guy is a beast. And he's durable..might be worth the investment. No way you give him 10 mil tho.

I'd offer him a 4 year, 6 million per year contract and start from there. Everything i'm reading, he's a consummate pro.

yes wants loads of dosh , the cowboys back up olb interests me victor butler , never really had the chance to shine
he be a FA as well well worth a look imo

also i wanted this guy 2 years ago when he 1st was a FA antwan barnes , good under rated under used pass rush specialist
    also far cheaper

and another guy [he has never done it in the nfl] ,but has he ever had the chance with the likes of edwards ,biermann, abraham ahead of him . is lawrence sidbury

in college i thought he had a chance to be a solid player in the nfl but hasnt produced anything

i would also look at philip wheeler[lb depth is a concern ]
slightly different type of player but had a very good year last year ,and we passed on him last year in FA

just some cheaper options there who i feel we should go after rather than a spencer, avril, johnson big money FA

Part of the reason the Cowboys are letting him go is because they're not convinced he can play 4-3 DE (which is what they're moving to). Are we convinced he can play 4-3 DE? As in $8-10M/yr convinced?

I'd really like to sign a DE to compete with Vernon/Odrick in the off-season, frees us up to take CB in the 1st and WR in the 2nd

Going to want too much money and I don't think he is worth it.
