GM What about doing this with Long?

I know that some of you say that it would be crazy that we could get him on the cheap, but with his recent revelation about that he is willing to comeback discounted to stay in Miami; here is what I purpose. If we can get him back at 3yr/6mil., we could move him to the RT and leave Martin at LT. This would gives us some real flexibility in the draft as we could draft shore up depth on the OL in the 3rd or 4th rds. of the draft as I really like the talent of this position.

Keep dreaming. Long is not going to sign for two million per year.

Long has already said he doesn't want a position change and he will never even consider taking 6 million or anything close to that to stay in Miami, he will get 10 (or close to that) from someone like the bears or chargers.

I am sorry, I read the headline wrong. I thought Long was willing to give us a hometown discount. So if he is not, bye, bye.
