Humor If Ireland Were To Be Standing Next To You...

...what would you do/say to him after you learned that he failed to acquire both Jennings and Wallace in FA? - - >

What would I do? Can you say strangulation?

(This is not a serious inquiry...I ask just out of curious interest) - - >

Free agency is a buyer's market. The players will go where they want to go - so you can't blame Ireland if a healthy contract was offered. If he fails to offer a big contract, then I would want to know what's up.

I'd say "thanks for driving up the price for FA's and letting someone else break the bank on them, i was almost getting used to us being on the **** end of THAT stick"

I'd ask him if he gets a kick out of all the armchair GMs that think his job is easy; thank him for being our best drafting GM since Joe Thompson and ask how much input Parcells had those first couple years

What if both WRs got maximum contracts? Would you want the Dolphins to drop 15/yr on either guy?

Well I'd tell him it's fine and I'd rather get wrs in the draft and groom them to dolphin greats ourselves... I would love to get one or both of them but if we dont that just means cordarrel patterson/bailey keenan allen/tavon austin or either or will end up dolphins... I wont lie I was one of the people who were for getting rid of ireland but I think I was wrong.. we would never b a great team if we dont hold out vison together.. so I'd tell him to keep working on the team

After a good amount of blood has stopped bumping into his brain from my strangulation and he is weak and limp, I will tar and feather the dude. - - >

it would depend on what he 'did' do .... did he resign Hartline?? (cheaply I hope, but none-the-les) ... did he sign a TE?? say Keller ... did he sign a T not named Long?? like Smith ... did he sign an impact DE?? like Avril or Johnson ... did he sign a starting CB like Houston or Lewis??

IF he did these things ... i might not say much -- outside of "who are the top 3 WRs you like in the draft"?? While I'd certainly prefer an 'answer' at WR to start the season .... i could 'live' with a nice pick-up in the draft that could start day 1.
